  • This modern lap quilt features fabrics from Sarah Sczepanski's fabric collection 'Golden Touch' for Free Spirit fabrics. The collection is inspired by an up-close look at nature, discovering patterns of spirals, spheres, waves, and meanders. The patterns are created from Sarah's original monotypes, hand-painted water colors, and monotype collages. 

  • We used the Bella Moon Ashlar Quilt Pattern (formerly the Chloe pattern) to showcase these abstract prints. We inverted the colours for this quilt, using a rich dark blue (Kona Windsor) rather than a white, creating a stunning dramatic effect. 

  • Kit includes instructions, and all fabric for quilt front and binding.

  • Project requires batting, backing fabric, and thread. We backed our quilt with 3.7m of Golden Touch - Outer Orbit: Platinum.

  • Finished quilt measures 65" x 71."

  • Our sample was long-arm quilted by Nick at Mystery Stitch Designs.
