  • Batting tape is smooth which means no mid-quilt lumpy areas, and less pinning and sewing.

  • Pre-test adhesive on materials before starting project.

  • Preheat iron to wool heat setting, no steam.

  • Butt the two edges together, place EZ-Seam Tape with textured (fusible) side down, evenly space over length of seam.

  • Cover with a light, dry pressing cloth. Press and hold iron with medium pressure for 10-15 seconds.  Repeat, slightly overlapping prior area, until length of taped seam is bonded.

  • Allow to cool.  If more ironing is needed to secure tape, repeat step 4, pressing for 5 seconds.

  • General Directions to Stabilize Seams

  • Pre-test adhesive on materials before starting project.

  • Preheat iron to wool heat setting, no steam.

  • Cut tape to desired length and fuse anywhere extra strength or stability is required.

  • Cover with a light, dry pressing cloth. Press and hold iron with medium pressure for 10-15 seconds.  Repeat, slightly overlapping prior area, until length of taped seam is bonded.

  • Allow to cool.  If more ironing is needed to secure tape, repeat step 4, pressing for 5 seconds.
